FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Flatback or with Box Gutter Receiver
All Dam Buster Rainheads come in two versions: one with a flat back and another with an integrated box gutter receiver. Each option has its own benefits, giving you the flexibility to choose the best fit for your project’s needs.
We generally recommend the flat back style for greater flexibility, but if you're unsure, feel free to check out our comparison page to see the differences side by side.

Are Dam Buster Products Compliant?
Yes. Dam Buster products fully meet the NCC Performance Requirements using two approved methods.
In Victoria (as of 2024), the VBA requires a Performance Solution for all Dam Buster product installations. In other states and territories, requirements vary. However, our products may also be accepted as Deemed to Satisfy through Expert Judgement under the NCC. If there's any uncertainty, using a Performance Solution is the easiest and safest option nationwide.

Standard vs Stretch
The Dambuster Stretch Rainheads are specifically engineered for applications requiring a wider profile without increasing water capacity. Maintaining the same height and wall projection as the Standard 300 Rainhead, the Stretch Series is extended in width to meet broader architectural requirements.
This range is an ideal solution for projects where additional width is needed, yet a sleek, slimline appearance must be preserved.
